HomeAway Butler looks after empty homes in Larnaca District for owners who live abroad, most of them Lebanese. Every month we visit your home, check it inside and out, and send you a short report with photos. We hold your keys, keep an eye on the bills and the mail, and get the home ready before you arrive. WHAT A MONTHLY CHECK-IN COVERS
Most problems in an empty home start small: a slow leak, a blocked drain, damp in a closed room, a bill that went unpaid. They become expensive because no one was there to catch them early.
So once a month we walk through the whole home and check what usually goes wrong in an empty house in Cyprus: the drains and gutters, the roof and the solar water heater, doors and windows, the electrics, and any sign of damp or leaks. You get a short report with photos, on WhatsApp or by email, showing what we checked and anything that needs your attention. When everything is fine, you’ll know that too.
WHOM IS IT FOR
Owners who live abroad and visit a few times a year, or haven’t been back for a while. Most are Lebanese, living in Lebanon, the Gulf or Europe, with a holiday home or a second home in Larnaca. It also suits new owners who’ve just received the keys to an apartment they’ll use later, and anyone who has relied on a neighbour or a cousin and wants something more dependable.
You don’t need an expensive property for this to make sense. It’s for anyone whose home sits empty.
WHAT ELSE IS INCLUDED
- Three more visits a year for a cleaning or a delivery, arranged with you in advance.
- Getting the home ready before you fly in, if you ask: airing it out and arranging a clean.
- Watching your utility bills and flagging odd charges or disconnection notices, so nothing lapses.
- Collecting your mail and passing on what matters.
- Holding your keys, stored securely and labelled with codes only, never your address.
- Letting in contractors you approve, with one of us there the whole time.
- When something needs fixing: finding the right people, sending you the quote, acting only on your OK, and sending photos when it’s done.
WHAT IT COSTS
From €350 a year, paid upfront for 12 months. The service starts once it’s paid. That covers the monthly check-ins and the three scheduled visits a year.
Any extra visit is €25, and only after you say yes. If something needs fixing, you get the quote first. The year can’t be cancelled early, and it renews each year unless you tell us at least 30 days before.

With a conversation on WhatsApp about your home. If we’re the right fit, we sign a simple agreement, you send us the keys and any codes, and your first check-in is booked for the following month.
Can I cancel?
HomeAway Butler runs for 12 months and can’t be cancelled early. It renews each year unless you tell us at least 30 days before.
